Ladies and gents I give you the tried and tested ‘Holy Grail’ Moisturiser for oily skin. Well in all seriousness, and without any further exaggeration, this moisturiser is truly what every oily and very oily skin people like me should have. Well I’ll explain further below in layman terms.

Well at first I have been using Forever living product ever since it was introduced to me by a relative and since then I have stuck with it but most importantly I have been so glad and grateful that I found out about this product; it has surely changed my skin tremendously each time I use it, and so affordable; it costs $16.60 (for the US) and £14.96 (for the UK) and comes in a large tube of 113g/ 4oz. Why I call it the ‘Holy Grail’ moisturiser

I Call it ‘The Holy Grail (and it definitely deserves this title) because for so many years I thought I would have to “break the bank” to find a moisturiser that rids my skin off being oily or even maybe tries to reduce how oily it becomes throughout the day. I thought I would have to search for centuries and possibly give up on never finding it, but to my amazement this moisturiser had been under the same roof as me harbouring in the cabinet of another untouched. Now, I never actually knew that this ‘Crème’ would be a life saver for me –well I’ll tell you why I say this. Like so many other oily skin people, the word ‘Crème’ immediately strikes to me as something of a thick formula or consistency, hence meaning ‘Cream’ in English  which seems more suitable for a drier skin type. This word not only scared me, but deterred me from using this moisturiser for nearly three months. Until one day, I decided to put all fears aside an give it a try because after all in the name of skincare and beauty I have used products that were not only terrible but cost a ton of money; some were ranging between £150-300 for just moisturisers that at times came in a bottle as little as 10ml. So I eventually tried this moisturiser, and on the first day my face remained matte with no trace of oil in site, to the extent that throughout the day I received compliments from people around me asking about what I was using on my skin because they knew that I was a “greasy monkey” especially when I am out in the sun; however this time that was not the case.

As you have read above the Aloe Propolis Creme aka ‘the Holy Grail’ moisturiser gave me a healthy looking  bright skin tone that was so smooth to the touch and yet felt very moisturised while keeping the shine at bay.  I was filled with so much excitement that finally I had found the ‘one’ , but I decided to remain calm and give it maybe a week or two and see if it loses its magical powers of drying out the oil from my face, but oh no! it didn’t; it continued to keep my skin matte but still yet moisturised with a soft texture. I fell in love with it even more, and I have never stopped using it till this day.

After so much ranting about this moisturiser, I hope all my readers get the chance to get their hands on this amazing product, as I will dread the day they decide to change this moisturiser or produce a so called “improved formula”  that most times are not as good as the original one, as that is what most companies do and in future lose customers that were drawn to the original content from the start.
